COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

To help you book with confidence, Top Desert has made the cancellation policy even more flexible. For any change in your travel plans due to any COVID-related matter, you have the right to reschedule your booking for an ulterior date without any extra fees.

The agreement :

By booking a trip with Sahara Relax, you are considered as having agreed to the booking conditions set out below: Booking


A booking form for each of the Tours, Treks or Day Trips is available on the relevant tour page. Please complete one to indicate your ideal travelling time and the number in your group. Please let us know if you any special requirements.

Upon receipt of the booking form, we will answer within the following 24 hours. Should this not be forthcoming, please resend it. Please check that a reply has not been saved in your “spam” box.

Once an agreement to take a Sahara Relax tour or day trip, as on the website or an individual customised tour, has been reached, a confirmation through a 30% deposit will be requested. This can be done through a bank transfer or PayPal. Once we have received your deposit, we shall confirm receipt.

On receipt of the deposit, accommodation will be booked and your trip details entered onto the company spreadsheet.

Amending a booking will be made where feasible and the company will do its best to satisfy the change in your wishes. We cannot necessarily guarantee full satisfaction in such cases.

Last-minute changes to your itinerary may be necessary due to unforeseen and incontrollable circumstances.

These circumstances may result in a need to cancel part or all of the tour booked. They include adverse weather conditions, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, riots, civil disturbance, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, war or the threat of war. Industrial dispute could mean a dispute with or among those supplying services and those whose services impinge on ours and which cannot reasonably be replaced with alternative arrangements.

Should any delays, changes or cancellations occur as a result of « force majeure », Sahara Relax will not be held liable.

Travel insurance:

Please ensure that you have taken out adequate and valid travel insurance for your trip with Sahara Relax. This should include covering loss, expenses, damages occurred as a result of loss, accidents, injury, illness and death, medical expenses, including those related to pre-existing conditions, emergency repatriation and personal liability.

We also advise you to have insurance covering the loss of personal items, delayed or cancelled flights, lost luggage, lost or stolen money.

All types of insurance are your responsibility and we assume that you will cover yourselves as set out above. Cancellation of your booking:

More than 30 days prior to the trip: no deposit refund. However, we shall hold any deposit towards a trip with Sahara Relax at any later date you choose.

29-10 days prior to the trip: 50% of the total cost will be charged

10 days – trip start date: 100% charge of the total cost.

Accommodation can vary in quality according to local standards in Morocco and should be judged accordingly. Hotels, riads and guest houses are booked according to availability. Where possible, we inform you of a variety of choices, including up-grades requiring an additional fee.

Special requests:

Please inform us at the time of booking about any special requirements you may have such as dietary requirements, king sized beds according to your height and so on. We will do our best to meet these requirements according to the possibilities prevailing in Morocco, but they cannot be guaranteed.

Special requests:

All dissatisfaction needs to be addressed immediately to your driver or guide, bivouac or hotel staff. They will do their best to redress the issue.
