4-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Zagora to Tjiniya

Zagora ❯ Tjiniya

We begin our trek from Zagora at 09:00 AM, meeting your camels, camel handlers, and cook. The trek heads across the Elfayja flat desert, once used by nomads for seasonal farming. After a shaded lunch under a locust tree, we camp for the night in Hassi Tjiniya, at the foot of the Bani Mountains.

Day 2: Tjiniya to Lamrayer

Tjiniya ❯ Lamrayer

After breakfast, we trek across the Jebel Bani pass (1095m), covering an elevation gain of 300-400 meters. We’ll break for lunch in an oasis before continuing our trek to Lamrayer, where you can marvel at the golden dunes. After watching the sunset, we camp near the dunes for the night.

Day 3: Lamrayer to El Mezouaria

Lamrayer ❯ El Mezouaria

Today we continue towards El Mezouaria, located near Erg Lihoudi. After a few hours of walking, we’ll stop for lunch under the shade of a tamarisk tree. We’ll then continue our journey through the desert, arriving at beautiful dunes in time for sunset. Tonight, we camp under the stars in this spectacular setting.

Day 4: El Mezouaria to M'hamid to Zagora

El Mezouaria ❯ M'hamid ❯ Zagora

We start early to catch the breathtaking desert sunrise before heading to M'hamid. After a scenic walk through various desert terrains, we stop for lunch and then continue to the road where we leave our camels behind. From here, we take transportation back to Zagora.
